Cambodian-Australian film “RUIN” by Michael Cody and Amiel Courtin-Wilson, presented by Bafnet member Serey Mao.
The movie has been shown in several film festivals and won prizes such as the Special Orizzonti Jury Prize at the Venice International Film Festival and Best Image, Best Editing and Best Direction from other festivals.

Synopsis:
RUIN is an impressionistic fable – the story of Phirun (Rous Mony) and Sovanna (Sang Malen) – two young lovers inexplicably drawn together who escape a brutal and exploitative world of crime and violence in modern day Cambodia.
